Feng Ling Restaurant in Houston

I had a delivery of the Shrimp and Scallops (huge and delicious!) and the beef noodle soup. Oh... The soup was such an amazing experience! The meat is delicious and tender and omg the beef broth. I'm drooling as I write this and I just had it last night. It was like pot roast with noodles. I'll definitely get that again. I don't even need the noodles! The bok choy/cabbage was fresh and perfect with it. The delivery man was so nice and I felt so bad when I realised how far he had to drive at 10pm. Many blessings and thanks to you!

Excellent food! Cream cheese wontons, shrimp fried rice, pork dumpling, hot and sour soup, Feng Ling Hot Chicken, all so delicious! My family has been going her for years, and the food never disappoints. Also they just redid the inside and it looks lovely!

My new go-to for Chinese food. We had the steamed dumplings, shrimp lo-mein, and the duck. It was all FANTASTIC. Service was excellent, too. Will definitely be going back soon.

Delicious. Take out orders were plentiful. We found a new favorite Chinese restaurant!

They used to put your take out food like chowmein in a cube cardboard square box with asian art and chopsticks, now they don't do that no more, instead, they put your food on a traditional lid square styrofoam white box and plastic utensils. What a turn off. I took my friend over to order some chow mein, because he asked me if I knew an Asian dinner that gives you real Asian food in Asian containers and chopsticks, so I took him there because the food was great and you get it in a cultural Asian to go way, but to our surprise, we got it on a big styrofoam container, so my friend thought I lied to him, but I pointed out that the place had changed a bit, because I used to go to this place like back in 2010, 2011. To management: Please bring back the Chinese to go cube cardboard boxes and chopsticks. Do not adopt typical American tradition, because it defeats the whole purpose of eating Asian food. Embrace your culture, because it's beautiful.

Love the orange chicken - all white meat. The hot and sour soup is wonderful.

Good food...one dish is enough for 2 people.. we tried Mongolian chicken shrimp beef with fried rice.For dinner they add up +$2 to some of the lunch dish...

WOW ordered from here today, during quarantine times... I am so impressed and delighted with their services and food. It was absolutely delicious, 10/10 Recommend!!! I will definitely be back with my family.

I love this place. The prices are very reasonable. And when you take out the plates are very full! It’s worth every penny.

Finally found the best sweet n sour shrimp I’ve had in decades. Beautiful presentation and delicious. I can’t wait to go through the rest of their menu. When I mistakenly ordered pickup and paid delivery tip, staff was quick to call me and remedy my mistake. Super staff and fast delivery.

My bosses love to order from here on Tuesdays. We get the sweet and sour chicken, jalapeno chicken, kung pao chicken, and cashew chicken all great. The daily soup (which I believe is the hot and spicy) is not my favorite but all my coworkers love it so must just be me.

Our family's favorite Chinese. Their version of General Tsao- Jalapeno Chicken is the best! Always have polite service. Lunch hour can get very busy, but staff does great job of working together to make sure everyone is taken care of. Have been and will continue to come here for years.

Worst food I ever tried, would give it ZERO starts if possible. I ordered beef and broccoli and sesame chicken with fried rice and 3 egg rolls. The food was fried in rancid oil that had a smell of kerosene. I unfortunately tried a bite of each before calling the restaurant to request a refund for food that wasn't just inedible but likely poisonous. They asked me to bring the food back that we couldn't eat in order to refund, which they issued partially because we ate the egg rolls.... Poor management given the facts, should have given a full refund and a complimentary meal to try to make a customer. As is, I will never forget the taste and never try that place again. (Also compelled to write this review)

The dinner was $2 more than the lunch price. Paid $10.34 and the ToGo portion was ridiculously small, the size of my hand. Will never return.

I've never found a place as good as Feng Leng. It's a family business and they care about their customers. Everything is made from fresh ingredients daily. The menu is extensive and the portions are so generous I usually have to get a to go container. Nice friendly atmosphere and attentive service. They also do takeout.

This place is not the easiest to spot in traffic but it is SOOO good. Everything I've gotten has been better than expected

I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years, weekly, ordered delivery last night, the shrimp in garlic sauce, amazing! The hot and sour soup is always on point too!!!

Nice clean restaurant. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. My order came out quickly and as requested. Food was delicious. My to-go order was ready just at the time I was. Great timing. Definitely will eat there again.

Fast service, hot delicious food and reasonable prices. Nice place to satisfy that craving.

Best Chinese food especially the shrimp fried rice

We ordered delivery online and paid. We were emailed a receipt and everything as we want to limit social interaction due to covid. The driver came quickly which was good but had no mask on. We knocked on the door and we asked him through the window to leave it by the door. He refused saying he needs cash for the food. I open the door and try to communicate with him and show him the receipt and he proceeds to yell at me and threatens to call the police. I told him to take the food and leave....I called the restaurant and they apologized but i prefer my food without being yelled (for paying?) and will unfortunately be moving on from this place.

Seems like a cool place, they have books and board games for you. Staff is extremely nice. But food came out very salty. Very salty. Jan 2016Update. Food was a lot better. Staff is great. Very attentive. Still very cool atmosphere. Will definitely come back soon. May 2019 changed to 5 stars

Best dumplings ever. From the taste, to the way they tuck and fold them, to the sauce, to the shaved ginger served on the side, so my incredible dumplings. I like the steamed pork the best, but they have many others, steamed or fried. I also like the Almond Chicken, thin slices of white meat chicken with onions and celery and halved almonds in a very light sauce.

They have upgraded the restaurant. Great service and friendly staff. Food is always good. My 16 year old daughter loves it...every Thursday night.

Always good food! Don't know when they updated there bathrooms but now they got new bathrooms. Always like to come here with my family because I can enjoy without worrying it ever packing with people on any day.

I’m Jerry the manager of 2nd Debut furniture my first time ever eating duck and I have had a great experience and tasting with fend Ling. The owner she’s a very very nice lady and all of her employees a wonderful Great place to eat highly recommend it.

Nothing great, just another chinese place. The pork is dry, the fried rice is dry and bland and I just wasted 23.00 last night

The food at Feng Ling was very good. The price was reasonable. I like to get there combo which gives you an egg roll, a small bowl of soup, and an entree. The service was excellent.

The food here was great! The service was wonderful! I got the jalapeno chicken,my fiancee the curry chicken,and my son the broccoli beef. Generous portions! My daughter got the sauteed fish,took a bit to get, but was well worth it! So savory! Worth the drive!

I ordered take-out and had a couple of special requests. The order arrived on-time, the food was good (though there was too much sauce and oil on the chicken and shrimp with garlic sauce). I called to make sure and the person who answered was very polite and charged a reasonable $1 to add broccoli to my dish. The dumplings are made fresh in-house. The driver was very courteous, and wore a face mask. The restaurant offers free delivery, so I will order from them again. GrubHub, UberEats, and the like, are cutting into small restaurants' profits.
